Thick Bones: Cause and Cures for Teen Obesity

The book is written from the voices of four multicultural teens (Davanna Brown, Maritza Rodriguez, John Wong, and Seth Bernstein). These teens discuss the daily taunting, harassment and bullying they encounter as overweight teens. In addition, the book addresses some cures for teen obesity. In the final pages of the book there are some discussion questions for classroom participation.
